AllInOne Monitoring Module with Active Balancer
Inspired by Stuart Pittaways diyBMS
I am working in KiCad. The latest changes might not be in the PDF
Changes to diyBMS
-
Uses MP2787 instead of MAX14921
MAX14921 only goes to 65V but 16s LiIon is 16 * 4.25V = 68V
MP2787 integrates A/D converter with reference voltage for cells, current shunt and thermistors
MP2787 includes LDO 3.3V
MP2787 goes up to 75V
-
Replaces STM32F03 with ESP32-C3 because the Controller board is already based on ESP32 and it can be programmed via USB without adapter.
-
Includes active balancer using capacitors.
